Question:
I want to replace the tail lights on our 2001 Jayco Qwest 8U tent trailer with LED lights, but I cant get the old ones out to even see what kind of wiring they have. The owners manual doesnt say. The lights are the oval shape kind, about 7inch wide, and are each sitting in a box that is mounted to the back of the trailer. Any tips as to how to remove the old lights?

Hello Barb. Generally with that kind of light you can pry off the grommet and light with a screwdriver or plastic pry tool. A lot of times if you have access to the light from the back side they can be a lot easier to remove. Removing the grommet may reveal some mounting screws depending on what kind of light that is.
