Recommended Dual Path Air Compressor to Replace a Firestone AirRide 2860

Updated 06/26/2024 | Published 06/17/2024

Question:

Hello, I have a Firestone AIRIDE 2860 installed in my 24 Chevy 3500 dually to use my my truck camper. It is a single path and my truck and camper sag to the passenger side about an inch, I am looking to upgrade to a dual path system to control each side independently, Im looking at your Air Command standard duty dual path item F39VV, is that going to be my best solution or do you have any other suggestions. Thank you for your advice in advance.

The Firestone Air Command Standard Duty Air Compressor item # F39VV would be a solid upgrade over the single path compressor that comes with the Firestone 2860 combo. This dual path compressor has a max air pressure of 100 psi which is perfect for what you're looking for. The air bags currently on your Silverado top out at 100 psi. The dual path function will allow you to level out your passenger side with the rest of your truck.
