Will The MORryde Pin Box # MR74VR Change The Hitch Height Or Length From The Current 1621HD?

Question:
Looking to upgrade our factory installed Lippert 1621HD with the MR74VR on our 2021 Mesa Ridge 284RLS with a GVWR of 12,500 lbs. We tow with a 2016 F250 4x4 Lariat. Even after adjusting the kingpin to its highest level and the BandW Companion hitch to its lowest level, the RV still sits a little nose-high maybe 3-4, which we are ok with. Our question is, will the MR74VR raise the nose higher if it is installed in the same holes as our current kingpin? Thanks for your help! Dave Caldwell

Expert Reply:
The MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box # MR74VR was designed to fit exactly in place of your current 1621HD pin box. So it will end up with the same length and height as your current pin box. Thus you will be able to maintain the same hitch height with the MORryde pin box.
