Question:
I have the factory wire harness that was in the glove box for the electric brake controller. The wire harness has 5 wires and the harness from the controller only has 4. The Toyota trailer brake jumper harness wires are labeled as follows, black-red- fused trailer brake controller batt. Feed. Green- headlamp switch to vehicle trail lamps green- white- vehicle stop lamp switch to brake controller input. Brown- ground. Red- trailer electric brake feed from brake controller output. My question is which wire isnt used? Thanks for any help.

On the factory harness for your 2014 Toyota Tundra you will not use the Green- headlamp switch to vehicle tail lamps.
The brake controller wires are white for ground, black for 12 volt power, red for stop lamp switch, and blue for output to the trailer brakes.
The wire that is not used is often referred to as an illumination circuit and is not used by nearly all aftermarket brake controllers.
