7-Way Trailer Wiring Kit Recommendation for a 2022 Toyota Highlander Without the Factory Tow Package

Question:

I have a 2022 Toyota Highlander with NO factory tow package. I installed a hitch but need to install a 7 pin wiring kit for a trailer I am purchasing and need all material. I will also need the Harness, the 10 pin tow plug located behind the trim panel on drivers side, for the vehicle. Do you have a package that comes with all that or do you sell it separately and how much for all the parts?

What you're needing is the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # TK57VR. This gives your 2022 Toyota Highlander a fully-functioning 7-Way along with all of the wiring you need for the standard trailer lights along with the wiring needed for a brake controller. The Mounting Brackets # PK12711U and # 18136 give you a way to secure the 7-Way socket at the back of your vehicle.

If you also need a brake controller then I highly recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR because it can plug directly into the Tekonsha harness by using the Adapter # 331-TPH-017, and then you can use the Mounting Panel # RED48FR to give it an OEM look in your Highlander.
