Hello Dean. Yes, the Stealth Hitch # SH89VR will indeed fit your 2023 BMW X5 Hybrid. We have double checked this with the Techs at Stealth Hitch and they confirmed fitment for the Hybrid models.
Please note that the # SH89VR hitch is to be used with hitch mounted accessories only. So, stuff like bike racks or cargo carriers. This hitch CANNOT be used to tow a trailer. In order to tow, you will need to add the Towing package Upgrade Kit # SH58VR.
