Recommended Base Plate for a 2006 Scion TC w/ Fog Lights

Yes, you can! I checked with Roadmaster and their Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit item # 1176-1 is compatible with your 2006 Scion tC with fog lights. The fog lights will have to be removed and not reinstalled. This is detailed in section 6 of the instructions which I have attached below.

I have also linked an installation video. Ours did not have the fog lights to remove though.

Here are some other parts you will need to flat tow your 2006 Scion tC:

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System item # HM39524

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
