Distance Between Mounting Holes of JR Products Switch part # 37213575

Question:
Re. part 37213575 I like the look of this rocker switch and would like to use it in my off grid cabin new construction for controlling my 12 volt lights. I see the two holes for screwing on the switch plate. How far apart are those holes? Would this unit screw into a regular residential electric box, the kind that is commonly blue and attached to a stud in new construction? Thank you.

The distance between the mounting holes is 2-1/4 on the JR Products switch part # 37213575. There's no reason it couldn't be used to attach to an electrical box.
