Question:

Thinking of towing a 2024 Wagoneer. Several things bother me about this setup. 1 The tab width of 37 inches looks very wide so much so that when you apply the brakes on the coach, the arms on the tow bar are being pushed apart rather than into the hitch. 2 The electric steering on the Wagoneer, has that been a problem with death wobble? 3 Any issue with power when coming out of toad mode, such as error codes or things not working? Hey Wayne, so the Blue Ox Base Plate kit part # BLU46CR is a confirmed fit for your 2024 Jeep Wagoneer and while the bracket width is on the wider side it has been tested and works fine with Blue Ox tow bars. We do have the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar part # BX7420 which does have a lot longer arms which might help you feel better about the bracket width. The arms of this are 42-1/4 inches long.

There is a death wobble issue potentially with your vehicle and for that you might need the MOPAR harness part number 82216418AA but you'd have to check with them to see if your vehicle needs it.

Shouldn't be any power issues at all with coming out of towed mode either.
