Can A Pace Edwards Contractor Rig Ladder Rack Be Installed Without A Tonneau Cover

Part number 311-CR6007 pace Edwards ladder stand 1996 ford f350 extended cab/8ft bed I was wondering if you can attached this part onto the bed with like a clamp style similar to like Thule ladder stands. Or will you have to have the bed cover in order for this part to attach to the bed of the truck.

Hi Mike,
The Pace Edwards Contractor Rig Rack Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 311-CR6007 mounts into the track of the cover so from the manufacturer's standpoint you would need the cover in order to use the rack. There aren't currently any clamps designed to work with this rack so if you really wanted to use it without the cover you'd have to custom make them yourself.
If you would like to get a cover to mount the rack to then you'll need the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover w Explorer Rails # 311-JEF1290.
