Question:

Are there any plans to offer a Class III 2 inch receiver hitch for ‘23-‘24 Honda HR-Vs? I ask because I already have some accessories that fit into a 2 inch receiver bike rack, cargo tray. If not, is the 1.25-to-2 inch adapter a viable alternative?

If I had to guess, David, I'd say they aren't going to make one for a 2024 Honda HR-V. Reason being is, the max towing capacity for that vehicle is only 2,000 lbs so it wouldn't make sense to make a bigger hitch.

There is an adapter # HTAD that you "could" use to physically get your rack to fit into the hitch, but whenever you use an adapter you lose 50% of your tongue weight capacity which would reduce it to practically nothing.

I'd recommend just getting a new bike rack that is meant to be used with a class I or II hitch like the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # HLY94FR which can haul up to 2 bikes that weigh 35 lb each.
