Would The Voyager WiSight 2.0 Work For Both An Enclosed Trailer And Truck Bed Camper

Question:

I have a 2021 NEO brand aluminum enclosed trailer that I can access the wiring to all the rear lights. It appears this camera system would be a good choice for connecting to the existing running light wires. Please advise. My second question, I have a 2018 Northern Light truck camper and would also like to install a rear camera that would be compatible with this system. What would be your recommendation for this installation? It is not prewired for a camera install and I currently have a solar charge wireless license plate bracket camera. Connection to the monitor is sporadic. Thanks

Yes, the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # ASA57YR would be able to splice into your running light circuit to power the rear camera, it even comes with butt connectors already on the wire harness to make integration with your factory wiring faster.

The monitor for this system can pair with up to four cameras so you could just get a second camera # ASA64YR to wire into the running light circuit on the truck camper and then move the monitor to whichever vehicle is towing as needed. This system has a 60' range so you shouldn't be experiencing the same spotty service you've been experiencing. However, you will likely have either a blank screen or error message on the camera for the trailer that you leave behind so you'll want to just change your camera view to the specific camera you have with you.
