Question:
Hi Kevin. If I am not to put a regulator at the hose end that goes into the propane tank but the recommended MrHeater Big Buddy/Tough Buddy 12foot Propane Hose Assembly Quick Connect x Regulator w/Acm nut / F271803] that I purchased would now have 2 regulators, is 2 regulators counting the regulator on the heater itself.

The hose you purchased would be fine as long as the heater you're connecting it to doesn't already have a built-in regulator or if the manufacturer specified that the two regulators would be needed to get the pressure right. Looking at the Big Buddy heater the specifications list that the regulator is sold separately so I'd look through your owner's manual or confirm with the manufacturer that there isn't a built in regulator on yours.
Using multiple regulators will lower the pressure to a point that the appliance won't receive enough pressure to properly operate. If you do have a built-in regulator and just need a standard hose then one like part # 100555-144-MBS would be sufficient.
