Is the Edge programmer compatible with the addition of a cold air intake system? This is on a Triton 5.4 motor. What gains may I expect in fuel economy and performance?

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Edge Evolution Programmer # EP15051 does not work with cold air intake systems, exhausts, TB spacers, and other aftermarket components.

However, Evolution CS2 Gas # EP85350 supports cold air tunes for Air Force 14”, Air Force 13”, S&B, AEM, AirAid, K&N, and AFE on your vehicle.

Depending on your engine and settings, you can add up to 35 horsepower and 45 foot pounds of torque to the stock levels. Performance gains will vary some based on your climate and if you have any other performance parts on the vehicle.

Your mileage will vary depending on driving style, climate, and other aftermarket parts on the truck. Typically you will see around a 10 percent increase in fuel mileage on a properly maintained truck.

I am sending a link to the instructions on the Edge Evolution CS2 Programmer.
