Question:
Is the Edge programmer compatible with the addition of a cold air intake system? This is on a Triton 5.4 motor. What gains may I expect in fuel economy and performance?

The Edge Evolution Programmer CTS3 # EP59YR is designed to work with the smaller bolt-on modifications.
It offers a CAI-dedicated tune that will adjust for the cold air intake and prevent the engine from running too lean.
Depending on your engine and settings, you can add up to 35 horsepower and 50 foot pounds of torque to the stock levels. Performance gains will vary some based on your climate and if you have any other performance parts on the vehicle.
Your mileage will vary depending on driving style, climate, and other aftermarket parts on the truck. Typically, you will see around a 10 percent increase in fuel mileage on a properly maintained truck.

I have recently purchased the 85350 CS2 Gas for a 2011 F150 5.0. I am planning to install an AFE cold air intake filter. Do I need to do any programming to support this, or will the economy and tow setting that come stock with the tuner support the CAI.
