When picking out just a bracket kit for fifth wheel rails you would need to know the rail manufacturer as they aren't all interchangeable. For example, if you had the very popular Reese rails like what comes with the kit that fits your 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed part # RP50064-58 the correct bracket kit you would need is the part # RP50064.
If you are unsure of your rail manufacturer only safe bet is a new rail kit, if you know the brand and it's not Reese let me know.
