Question:

I need a left handed entry door handle for a horse trailer. Looks like you have several handles but only one says “left handed” and the picture shows a right handed handle.

Since there isn't a standard point of view some manufacturers list their handles from the inside of the RV and some from the outside, causing this confusion. When it comes to entry door handles like the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019 you were looking at the manufacturers will typically just rotate the latch to work with either a left or right handed door. This can throw off the plunger to striker plate fitment so you may have to move the striker plate in the door frame in order for it to work correctly.

The key to finding the correct latch kit for your trailer is going to be by measuring the cutout hole. The # 295-000019 fits cutout holes 2-1/2" - 3" wide x 3-1/2" - 4" tall.
