Question:
Hello. Can you tell me the difference between the Hopkins 48845 and the 48847 auto/trailer transformer. I am trying to wire up a Euro style type tail light to my jeep. The jeep currently has 3 wires. Reverse/tailghlight/brake-blinker. The Euro style light has reverse/blinker/ brake-tail light 3 bulbs brake and tail light same bulb. Dual bulb. Can I make this work with one of these part #s? Thank you for your help

The Hopkins taillight converter part # HM48847 is the current version of the 48845 that it replaced which can work for your application. It will combine the separate turn signal circuits you have on your trailer like you are needing.
