Question:
I’m looking at surco 501L ladder for a diesel pusher Rv with access doors in the rear of the coach. Mine didn’t come with a ladder but those that do typically have a 2 piece configuration where lower section is removable to accommodate engine access. The surco pictures lead me to believe this is a two piece product but none of the reviews seem to definitively address whether this would work in a diesel pusher configuration.

The Surco Exterior RV Ladder # SP501L does come in two pieces but gets mounted to the wall of the RV and would not separate and allow for you to open the rear access doors once installed. The best option we have would be to use a ladder like the Telesteps Telescopic A-Frame Ladder # TE37FR that can fold up to store in one of the cargo compartments of your RV.
