Is there a way to use the existing 3/8 threaded holes on the valterra tanks to receive the valterra probes? If not, where eould be the most appropriate place to install them? End wall or side wall?

Yes, the Horst Miracle Probe Sensors # T21301VP will fit into the existing 3/8" threaded holes on your Valterra tanks. The probes will push into the holes and you will tighten the first nut to create a leakproof seal.
