Have 4 questions for the wiring harness in rack and tow como 1. is the wire harness kit from BMW, or OEM compatible? 2. Does it have 5-way/7-way connector/socket which has connections for brake, 12-v power, and reverse? BIMMER AMERICA LLC at has those included, and yours and theirs are the same package/product form Stealth Hitch. 3. Can a brake controller connect to it and is used? 4. Is coding/programming needed to use X2s towing related features, like dynamic stability control to control the trailer sway automatically, backup camera zoom, etc.?

The trailer wiring that comes with the Stealth hitch part # SH35VR is a universal style of wiring that provides a 4-way and not a 7-way. It does not plug into any factory trailer wiring ports on your vehicle. To convert to a 7-way with this kit you would need the part # ETBC7 and a brake controller like the P2 part # 90885.
This does not require any programming of the vehicle by a dealer or affect stability control features.
