Adapter For MORryde Cushioned Pin Box With Fabex 750 Bolt Pattern To Use Gooseneck Hitch

Updated 08/21/2023 | Published 08/19/2023

Question:

I have a 2008 Carriage Cameo. I can no longer read the data sticker on the MORryde pin box. I have attached photos. The Measurement from the pin to the first row of bolt holes 3a is 17, second row is 21 3/4inch and third row 26 1/2. That means distant between holes 2a is 4 3/4. vertically 2b the holes are 2. The bolt hole 2d is 5/8. The box width 3c is 12. I want to remove the MORryde fifth wheel box and replace it with a gooseneck box. Can recommend the proper box? Thanks.

I do have a recommendation as based on your Dimensions it sounds like you have a Fabex 750 style pin box. Currently the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel King Pin # UF35-946212 is our only product that will bolt to this old pin box bolt pattern. To go to a gooseneck ball connection I recommend installing the 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter Mounting Plate # MR37ZR. This will then allow you to weld on either the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G for long bed trucks or Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216 if you only have a short bed truck. The adapter with offset provides you with 7-1/2" of offset to help gain additional clearance for making tighter turns.
