Question:

Could you guy please let me know Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit Fit 2008 Acura MDX where the best location I could install it.? Right now I did use inline 3/8 magnetic transmission filter Also would like to know the Derale have the same size 3/8 inlet and outlet. Instruction how to install. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your help

The Derale remote transmission filter kit # D13090 can install pretty much anywhere that is convenient for you. You could install it to the metal of the engine compartment if you wanted so you can reach it right under the hood. Or down along the frame in easy reach if you are under the vehicle.

Derale recommends any place that will allow enough space for future servicing of the filter noting the Firewall, Radiator Support, or Fender Well as common locations.

The kit includes 3/8 inch NPT x 3/8 inch barb fittings for the hose. It also comes with an Insta-dapt adapter to tap into the lines and the filter nipple is a 3/4-16 and fits the included filter. For future reference the replacement filter will be # D13092.
