Can The Reese Revolution Be Used With An Andersen Ultimate 3220 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:
Why can’t you use an aluminum Anderson 3220 hitch with the Reese Revolution? If the Reese is locked in place with the 2 bolts. I don’t see an issue. Is there something I’m missing?

If the Reese Revolution pin box is locked out then it would be considered just a standard pin box and would be ok to use with your Andersen 3220. The answer page you were looking at is referring to using the Reese Revolution while not locked out, which would put too much pressure on the hitch and crumple it. If you ever wanted to unlock the Revolution and use it as a rotating pin box you would need to get a different fixed hitch, like the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw # RP30047 that you were looking at.
