Guide On Recommendation for 1999 Prostar 190 on Single Axle Trailer
Published 07/17/2023 >
Question:
We have a 1999 Prostar 190 on a single axle trailer. Both of the guide posts have broken off the trailer and we are looking for replacement guides. Looking for recommendation on post guides or bunk guides or a combination? usually used in lakes so not dealing with tides but sometimes with high winds.

I would go with a bunkboard guide on kit like the part # CE27600K75 that you referenced. This will do a great job putting you in the correct position when loading your boat on to the trailer and will force the boat to stay straight as it goes on the trailer. The post style guides aren't terrible but they can allow the front to wander a little bit as the boat goes on the trailer.
