Question:
Bought etrailer hitch and wiring harness last year. I have 2018 kia sorento with factory tow package. Had blown fuse on wiring harness. Replaced fuse and now just brake lights and turn signals work, but not running/tail lights. Could this be an issue with wiring harness module. It is less than a year old. Thanks for any help.

It could be an issue with the module and we can easily test to be sure. You will need a wire probe like the # PTW2993. We would have you go in and test the wires going into the module. If we are getting good signal on the tail light wire going into the module, but not coming out of the module, we will know the module is bad and will need to be replaced. Tekonsha Wiring harnesses do come with a 1 year warranty. If you do not have signal going into the module, this means there is an issue with the vehicles wiring that needs to be addressed.
