The Yakima HangOver Bike Rack for 6 Mountain Bikes # Y02485 was not designed to be used on motorhomes. Therefore it does not stand up to the same harsher, more rigorous forces which are exerted on a bike rack mounted behind a motorhome. I recommend using the Hollywood Racks Road Runner Bike Rack # HR520 which is able to carry 5 bikes behind your motorhome. If you have bikes with alternative style frames you will need the Adapter # HRBA-PRO
