The Thule pack n pedal hard case. Do the pedals need to be removed? What is necessary for the handlebars? Is there a front fork mount inside?

Yes, both the pedals and handlebars will need to be removed when using the Thule Pack 'n Pedal RoundTrip Transition Premium Bike Travel Case # TH100502.
There is a fork mount that is inside the case than can be removed and attached to the included stand when you go to mount your bike.
