Troubleshooting Curt Trailer Wiring C56344 That Flashes Vehicle Brake Lights Then Shuts Them Off

Question:
My fiancé purchase the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56344. I installed it following the instructions provided. Now the tail lights flash 4 times and turn off when the brake is pressed.

That is definitely not a good sign but it's most likely that you just need to unplug all of the connectors and plug them back in to clear any possible connector seating issues. Also make sure the power wire is connected to your battery and the fuse is good and installed.
