Best Gauge Wire to Connect 6V Batteries Together

Question:
I came across this answer and thought someone should review it. Wiring 2 6v batteries together in series with 10 ga wire does not seem safe I hope I misunderstood that.

You are correct that wiring thicker than 10 gauge is better for connecting batteries together. Something like the 2.0 Gauge # DW04363 is best for this application.
