Why Doesn't B and W Patriot Slider Hitch BWRVK3270 Have Pin and Clips for Head Attachment

Question:

I have model BWRVK3270 I have seen on some of the bandw patriot models a safety pin that secures the coupler head to the pivot arms in addition to the saddle handles. How come this model doesnt have those and relies solely on the handles.

B and W came up with a different design for how the head of the B and W Patriot Slider part # BWRVK3270 attaches to the arms compared to other versions. This is a newer design so I would assume it's because they found a simpler way that made more sense and was still just as strong. B and W hitches are very solid and reliable so I wouldn't worry about this difference causing any issues.
