Replacement Hitch Option for 1998 Holiday Rambler
Updated 05/18/2023 | Published 05/17/2023 >
Question:
I have a Reese 38535 on my 1998 Holiday Rambler 37’ Endeavor. It’s Class 5 and will only haul 4000 Lbs. that’s not enough for my trailers. Can I add on a heavier hits to this coach?? It’s a Freightliner chassis with a Cummins and an Allison transmission. Why the heck is the hitch so small? Help would be very appreciated. Any documentation would be awesome!!!! Thanks

I do have an option for you but if you want to replace your current hitch, you'll have to weld and or bolt/drill a new one on as we don't offer custom fit options for motorhomes like a 1998 Holiday Rambler. That said, you should be able to fit an option like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41990-07 or part # 41990-16 without too much trouble and that's what I recommend. They both provide up to a 16,000 lb weight capacity.
