Availability of Trailer Winch that Can Have Handle Install on Both Sides

Question:

Can you switch the side that the handle is on on this winch? Or could it be mounted 180 degrees so that it pulls the other direction?

The winch you mentioned part # 348776 can't have the handle mounted on both sides of it nor can it mount 180 degrees.

For a winch that you can move the handle to the left side you can use # FW16000101. This winch is specifically designed to allow the handle to be installed on either side easily so it would work the best for you.
