Length of U-Bolt Left on Buyers Products Conduit Carrier Kit - 6" Diameter After Attached to Pipe

Question:
How far do the U bolts stick out past the saddle after you put it around a PVC pipe? Would they go through a piece of 3-1/2inch channel?

I checked with Buyers but they did not have this information on the Buyers Products Conduit Carrier Kit - 6" Diameter part # 337CC600. So, I went out to our warehouse for you and measured it. There is going to be about 3" of threading left once the u-bolt goes over the pipe and through the clamp.
