Replacement Brake Shoes and Linings for Hayes/ALKO 12 x 2 Inch Electric Trailer Brakes

Question:

On the AL-KO website, I found what I think are the right shoes, part number K568251, but I dont see this number here. I have a 2005 Crossroads Cruiser 5th wheel. On the backside of the drum I see stamped : 0704 565 PRI-gg SEC-gg this could be a G, a Ci or a 6, I cant tell 12x2 ELEC AL-KO There is an aluminum tag wrapped around the axle that says: 226-04 not real sure Model T52 Date 226 SLR-373 5200# AL-KOBER I want to know if your shoes fit, or do I have enough info for the correct shoes? Id also be interested in changing the wheel bearings when I have the tire off. Can you help here, or is this just a question where I have to take the old in to be matched up??

The K568251 shoes and lining are actually for ALKO 12-1/4 x 3-1/2 inch brake assemblies so they will not fit if yours are 12 x 2 inch brakes. From what I was able to find you should need replacement brake shoe and lining # BP04-185. This is for one wheel and it fits Hayes/ALKO 12 x 2 inch brakes.

For the bearings I would just need to know the inner and outer bearing numbers stamped into the metal of the bearings. With those numbers I can determine the correct parts or kit if available.
