Clearance Differences Between Trailer Tire Size ST235/75-15 and 175/80-13

Question:
Hello, Im shopping for wheels and tires. I have a Aluma 5x10 trailer 6310BT. Im looking to increase ground clearance and am installing a lift. The tires are currently 175-80-13. The lug is 545. I see you have some off road 235-15 tires that are significantly wider. Will these fit? I understand I need room under the fender, but Im having a hard time figuring out if there is enough room between the inside of the tire and frame. How would I measure and determine this? I appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks

Compared to the size you have now a trailer tire size of ST235/75-15 like the part # LH52FR is going to be one inch wider and about 5 inches taller. So you'd end up having 1/2 inch less clearance from tire to frame than you have now and 2-1/2 inches less vertical clearance from top of tire to fender.
