Replacement Options for Kitchen Faucet With Broken Handle

Question:

Hi there, as per the picture, the handle broke off on the cover plate along with the grub screw. I am assuming that this is a two handle cover plate, with one of the holes covered. Or is the covered hole used to hold the cover plate in check with an interior screw? Am I saying this right Either way , what are my options in order to re-install a handle on the cover p[late ? so I don’t have to install a new faucet Thank you

The second covered hole is what holds that in place on the faucet. Unfortunately, we don't have any replacement handles for a faucet with this design. Based on that design I would say they made it to be on there permanently with no option to replace it. That means your only option would be to replace it with a similar faucet like the # 277-000409.
