Question:

I would like to test the seven pin umbilical cable between the RV and vehicle when flat towing. I see the tester for the socket but do not see a tester for the plug. I currently have a socket on the RV and a socket on the car. It would be easy to plug the cable into the RV and perform a test before plugging into the vehicle.

We do have 7-way trailer wiring testers like with the Hopkins part # HM50918 which you'd plug your trailer 7-way into and it would put voltage on all of the pins to verify they are all working. This is a lot more involved than the opposite end tester which is why you'll notice it's a bit more expensive.
