I am thinking aobut buying this step bumper package with mounting kit included for my 2004 Ford Ranger XLT. HOWEVER, I am concerned about whether it will properly fit my truck, which has a STEPSIDE BED, NOT a Fleetside/Styleside bed, nor a so-called Flareside bed. Please let me know before I commit to buying it. Thanks.

According to Westin the correct mounting kit for your Ford Ranger with a stepside bed is the Custom Installation Kit for Westin Diamondstep and Surestep Bumpers # 97200.
This mounting kit will work with both the Westin Fey Surestep Rear Bumper with Custom Installation Kit # 76001-97200 & the Westin Fey Diamondstep Rear Bumper - Black Powder Coated Steel # 66000.
