Expert Reply:
I do have a hitch option for your 2008 Buick Lucerne to transport a 500lb electric wheelchair, but it will require a trailer as your vehicle is not rated for the amount tongue weight that a carrier would have.
What you'll need is the following parts:
Hitch # C12044
Ball Mount # C45520
Hitch Ball # C40001
Hitch Pin and Clip # F-4
Wiring Harness # 56047
and a small trailer like the Detail K2 # K2MMT4X6
To be able to use an actual carrier like # FHG69ZR you'd need to have a full size SUV or truck rated for 575+lbs of tongue weight.
