What is the compressed length of this gas shock? The gas shock on the entry door of my 2016 Jayco X20E ultra-light has broken and Im looking to replace it. Thanks

When the Taylor Made Gas Shock part # 3691843-20 is compressed it is right at 12 inches long and when extended it is 20 inches long.
