Question:
I was wondering what performance changes I can expect if I purchase the Superchips performance tuner for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, which has the 5.9l 24 valve Cummins diesel. I have only 112,000 kms or about 70,000 original miles.

I had to reach out to Superchips to confirm fitment and the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner # SU3845 you found is no longer compatible with your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9L Cummings. There was an update which makes it no longer compatible. They recommended to go with the Edge Juice with Attitude CTS3 Performance Tuner # EP78DR. This tuner has 6 different power levels available. Here is a list of the performance gains for each level.
Level 1 40hp/150tq
Level 2 60hp/200tq
Level 3 80hp/250tq
Level 4 100hp/300tq
Level 5 120hp/350tq
Level 6 (Hot Unlock Required) 150hp/380tq
The level 6 does require the Hot Unlock which is an additional fee you would have to pay to Edge for the unlock.
