How To Obtain Help Installing the Lippert Underchassis Double Bin Storage Unit with Tire Carrier

Question:

The only place to install the cargo carrier is underneath the fresh water tank. the fresh water tank has a hose where you would drain the tank for the winter time. the hose is at least 5 inches long. I sure would like to make it work. Any Ideas ???????????????????????????/

The Lippert Underchassis Double Bin Storage Unit with Spare Tire Carrier part # LC125460 is universal meaning it's designed to work on multiple different applications but it's up to the installer to determine compatibility. In regards to trailers, there are very few that are the same unlike vehicles so each application is a bit different. There may be obstructions on the frame which cause you to have to move the bins further forward or further back. There could also be other items under the body in the way such as a water tank. We can't really comment about such instances but we can provide you with a list of local installers who can determine compatibility for you if you are unsure. This is located on the product page under the pictures/videos. I recommend using this if you have questions about your specific application as again, very few are alike so we can't really comment on specific questions you have in regards to fit.

The only advice I can provide for you for your specific application is to reroute the hose but I'm sure that's easier said than done. However, it's difficult for us to hypothesis a solution as we are not right there with you looking under your trailer so I recommend professional installation.
