Blue Ox Baseplate Fitment For A 2023 Kia Forte GT

Question:
We are looking at a 2023 Kia Forte GT. We would like to flat tow. Checking your base plate it states: Product does not fit vehicles with fog lights Tech Tip: Product does not fit vehicles with Smart Cruise Control. What should I look out for on the new 2023 Kia Forte GT. It has fog lights on the side. Thanks

From what Blue Ox has listed the fog lights impede the installation of the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2728. From the limited pictures we have it looks like they interfere with the crossmember of the baseplate so you would need a different style to fit the GT. With the vehicle being so new there's a good chance that Blue Ox and other companies will make changes to their design to work around these fitment issues.
