Question:

Hi! I have a 2022 Nissan Frontier pro 4x4. Is there any reason I connot use the U shaped threaded connectors to secure the Overhaul HD mounting plates to the top of the truck bed sides? Do I have to connect the rack to the cargo slots inside the truck bed? thanks,

The Yakima OverHaul HD Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Toyota/Nissan Utility Tracks # Y01151-5768 is designed specifically to clamp into the Utility tracks in the bed of your Frontier. Typically there's not enough space to properly mount the rack with the u-shaped bedrail clamps if there is a Utility track present. It's still going to come with those clamps so you could try to get them in but most likely you'll end up having to mount into the track instead.
