Lock Cylinder Protection Cap for Bauer Lock Cams on a Leer Truck Topper w/ Folding T-handles

Question:
Hi there! I have a Leer fiberglass truck topper with side hatches that that have folding t-handles with Bauer cam locks please see attached photos. Will these BA49VR work with this setup? This cap in on my work truck and I have to carry a mini blow torch because they always freeze up. The dust door or flap built in the lock does not stop moisture from getting in. The Lock Cylinder Protection Cap for Bauer Products # BA49VR will work with Bauer lock cylinders. Since that is what you have on the t-handles on your Leer truck topper, these should work just fine.
If you want to be absolutely sure, the inner diameter of the # BA49VR cap is 1". You can measure your lock face to make sure these will work. The other thing you may want to check is the clearance of your t-handles as the caps will add a little bit of extra girth to the lock face.
