Will I need to purchase multiple parts to make the rack work with my vehicle? Its unclear on what is actually included and needed to install. I do not have any rails or crossbars on my vehicle

In order to use the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars part # RRVA118B-2 on a 2017 Toyota Corolla (Sedan) you'll also need the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars part # RRRLKVA and Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs part # DK383.
This is a custom fit roof rack so there's no modifications required. A typically roof rack is composed for three parts; the crossbars which you mount accessories to, the mounting feet which attach the crossbars to the vehicle specific clips, and the vehicle specific clips which mount in the door jambs and secure the feet to the roof.
