Question:

I will be towing a 2008 pt cruiser manual transmission. Other than putting it in nuetral is there anything else to be done.

According to what I could find in the owners manual for your 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser, as long as it has the manual transmission it can be towed in a forward direction, at any legal highway speed, for any distance, if the transaxle is in NEUTRAL. I do not see any other specific requirements in the owners manual, but recommend checking it yourself to be sure there is nothing overlooked.
