I have an old VG-97-2000. Can I purchase a latch kit from you that would make it fit my 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty? I thinking if you do, I can use my existing cables.

Per the manufacturer there is no replacement latches/hardware for the VG-97-2000 for your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The VG-97-2000 was discontinued in 2011.
I recommend upgrading to The Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate # VG-97-4000 which comes with all the installation hardware needed to install it onto your 2016 Ford F-250. The frame is blow molded to create a lightweight yet strong as steel tailgate.
