Troubleshooting Furrion Vision S 7 Monitor No Longer Powering On

Question:

My monitor just stopped working. Worked fine on a Friday, sat overnight in the driveway, will not power up the next day. 12v outlet is good, fuse in the power cord is good. Monitor will not power up. Unit is 2 years old. Not willing to gamble on a replacement that may do the exact same thing. Has Lippert/Furrion said anything about this problem? I realize mine is out of warranty, but given that many customers seem to be having this problem, Id expect Furrion to at least offer an explanation or a discount on a replacement monitor. Do you sell any other monitors that are compatible with the Furrion Vision S cameras? Id rather give someone else my business than roll the dice on another 7inch monitor from Furrion - unless they admit they have a problem and are taking some sort of action to correct the defective units. I reached out to Furrion who explained most monitor issues they get complaints about have to do with the fuse on the Power Cable # C-FOS07TAPK-006. As you explained you have a good fuse I feel it best to connect your camera to the power wire on this cable to verify that power is getting into the wiring. This may show there is something else wrong with the power cable and you may not need to replace the 7" Monitor # FR47FR.

Currently no one besides Furrion is making a wireless monitor which is compatible with the Furrion Camera System.
