Hello, I am inquiring about a hitch for a 2023 crosstrek 2.0 premium. Your website says the 2018-2022 version does not fit but there are no structural changes between earlier models and the 23. Is it truly not the same fit?

I have a solution that will give you a 2" hitch receiver but there was a redesign that began in the 2018 model year that goes through the 2023 Crosstreks. Structurally it may be the same but there must be something in the way now because none of the hitches that fit the 17 models, like item # C13135 you were looking at, fit the 2018-2023 Subaru Crosstreks.

Instead you will want the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7365. This hitch is confirmed to fit the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0 Premium. It bolts to your Subaru with included hardware.

I really like this hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper cover. The 2" x 2" receiver is also completely removable which means when you are not towing or hauling an accessory your Crosstrek can have a free the factory look.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 118467 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
